Whispair — Child Safety Standards (CSAE)

Whispair is committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page explains the safety standards we apply to reduce the risk of CSAE on Whispair and how to report concerns.

Whispair has zero tolerance for CSAM/CSAE.

Content or behavior that involves minors in a sexualised or exploitative context is strictly prohibited, including (non-exhaustive):

3. Age requirements

Whispair is not intended for children under 18. Users must meet our minimum age requirement as described in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

If we become aware that an account is being used by someone under the applicable minimum age, we may take appropriate action, which can include restricting features, suspending or terminating the account, and handling related data in line with our policies and legal obligations.


4. Reporting child safety concerns

We encourage users to report any suspected CSAE/CSAM or unsafe behavior immediately.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services and/or relevant local hotlines. Whispair is not designed for emergency communications.


5. Enforcement and response

When we receive a report or otherwise become aware of potential CSAE/CSAM, we may:

We may use a combination of human review and automated systems (including AI-assisted tools) to help detect and address abuse, consistent with our Terms.

We do not guarantee that we will detect all harmful content or behavior, but we aim to act reasonably when we become aware of violations. If you believe we took action in error, you can contact us using the email address in Section 8.


6. Cooperation with authorities

Where required by law, or where we reasonably believe there is a serious risk of harm, we may report and cooperate with relevant authorities. This can include responding to valid legal requests and sharing information as permitted/required by applicable law.
